Family Pool Party!

We had a 4th of July pool party at my sisters house! We all had a blast swimming and eating all of the yummy food! The weather was perfect!

End of Tee-ball

Graysen had a great time playing tee-ball. He didn't like following the instructions very much but what 4 year old does?
A dog pile to get the ball. Sometimes it was like I was watching them play football not tee-ball!

Loving the helmet. He always wanted to be wearing it even if he wasn't suppposed to be wearing it he thought it was his!

So proud!!! He did a great job! He was even able on his last game to hit the ball when it was pitched to him!

The BIG 30 !!!!!

Yes I am now 30.......... I have to admit I wasn't excited at all for my birthday this year! I woke up with a lovely migraine but then went shopping for a few shirts and topped it off with eating dinner at Olive Garden! It really wasn't that bad!

Tee-Ball

We signed Graysen up for tee-ball this year! He was so excited to be able to play a sport! It was hilarious to watch all of the kids try to figure out how to play the game! Ready for any ball to come his way

For never having played baseball he did very well and was able to hit it off the tee

Trying to sit patiently with his team on the sidelines. To have a team of 11 4-6 year olds made it very interesting to try to get them to sit still in one spot!

So proud to have hit the ball and be standing on base!

Farm Country!

Graysen's last field trip with his preschool class was to Farm Country and Thanksgiving Point. He had a blast and loved seeing all of the animals. He even fed the goats! He was a little unsure at first but after he did it once I couldn't get the kid to stop wanting to feed them!

Preschool Graduation- year 1

Graysen made it thru his first year of preschool! Phew! He really enjoyed schoold and made some great new friends! The theme of the night was Mother Goose. Graysen was given the poem "The Purple Cow" which explains the purple outfit I made!

He did great reciting his poem he didn't need much help at all!

Happy Easter!!

Our Easter this year had a very early start 6:30am to be exact!!!

Easter egg hunt and Dinner at the Johnson's

Easter!!!

First we went to an egg hunt over at my sister Becky's house which was a ton of fun!

Then we decided it was time to dye eggs!! He had a blast checking on the eggs to see if they were dark enough! Luckly this year we didn't have any spilling accidents!

I know if I don't post this I will forget some of the cute things Graysen has said lately.

The other night I was helping Graysen say his prayers. We got to the point where I prompted him to say "Please bless me to choose the right" Well he said that and then added "and the left"

Tonight he told me that he needs the snowman stocking instead of his Santa stocking. I asked him why and he told me " Because I don't have a beard." Well mom doesn't have a beard either so......................why do we need to trade?

Also every object he comes in contact with has a set of questions.
-Where you buy this?
-Why?
-What for?

He also knows his phone#, both of our names, his full name and we are working on our address.

Today in the car on the way to the mall I heard him talking to himself but I couldn't quite hear him so I turned down the radio and to my amazement he was saying the Pledge of Allegiance. I guess he is listening in Preschool!

First Set of Stitches

We spent the morning in the Riverton Hospital for some stitches. We had been out shoveling snow and I turned around to get more snow and hit Graysen in the face. He was such a trooper and never really cried. They had to sedate him since it was so close to his eye. It was hard to watch and caused some worry but he woke up well and had 7 stitches to show for it! I am so proud of my tough little boy!!!

Fall Update

I have been soooooo behind on my blog lately it's been really bad! There have been so many new fun things happening. Graysen started preschool in September and loves it! I'm not so sure about his teacher, Graysen is a handful some days. He has also started duck hunting with his dad and he is SO excited to go out and bust some ducks! We are also waiting for snow around here! We have had some traces of snow but not too much. I am so ready to be done with yard work that I am welcoming the snow with open arms!

So my goal is to be a little better and post a few times before the year is over, lets see if I can do it!
